On Sunday, May 26, 2019(SUN),

"KUSHIGATA WIND TRAIL"

will be held

(Distance: 31km, Altitude gain: 2500m/

Distance: 18km, Altitude gain: 1000m).

KUSHIGATA means "shape of a comb"

and the mountain range is called

"the smallest mountain range in Japan."

On the ridge line,

there are beech trees

with fresh green leaves,

and from there you will have a great view

of the IIDE Mountains 

with lingering snow.

Please join us in Tainai City,

Niigata and come feel the moment to

become one with the wind at the top!

Participants who are 18 years old and

older with confidence to finish the

race before the cut off time may sign up.

(*if under 18 years old, please send in a

signed permission paper from parents or

guardians.)

Registration

Entry fee 31 km 7,000 yen

                   18 km 4,000 yen 

* Include a prize for participation,  

   insurance, a race result certificate.

* The entry fee is nonrefundable and

   we do not accept category changes

   or cancellation.

* We do not mail race result certificate

   to participants.

   Please receive it at the finish in

   person.

* Entry will close on 10th of May 2019 or when its number of people reach, 150 for 18 km, 300 for 31 km.

We will invite the Men's and Women's

first place winners

at 2019 KUSHIGATA WIND TRAIL,

to the 2020 SCENIC TRAIL in Switzerland.

Ultra Race of the Year 2015 Gold medal

winner at SWISS ULTRA TRAIL AWARDS.

In addition to being the No.1

in the Switzerland, this race is considered as

one of the most scenic race in Europe.

(The invitation includes the

race entry fee.

It does not include airline tickets, accommodation or

transportation cost in Japan or in Switzerland.)

At Sekisawa Forest park aid station,  we write sign on your bib by pen and note your bib number. SO you MUST stop then.

 

For 18 km Runners

At 9km Itairinomine turning point, we write sign on your bib by pen and note your bib number. SO you MUST stop then.

 

*31km Runners can go thorough this point without check.

*TOP 3 finishers of each category will receive a prize. Please be present at the ceremony. After calling your name 3 times in 10 minutes, and if you were not present, your prize will be given away as raffles. We do not ship prizes.

*Hotel Shuttle for race site is available. They leave hotel at 6:00 AM on the race morning. Contact to Hotel for booking. Back way shuttle is also available at 15:30 from the race cite. This shuttle is for hotel guest only.

OBLIGATORY Gear(18km/31km)

*Personal portable cup

We do not prepare any disposable cup at aid station. We have gear check at ​check in. So please bring it then.

*Minmum 1 liter of water

At the collection of the race bib, we proceed gear check. SO you must bring these to show us.

Use of pole

After A1 Haguro Parking till finish line, you can use poles anytime with plastic cap. You need any kind of plastic cap like photo.

Aid station
Aid station

Aid station for 18 km is on 5.5 km,12 km at Haguro Parking. There are some water and fruits.
Aid station for 31 km is on 5.5 km at Haguro Parking,16 km at Sekisawa forest park, 25.5 km at Haguro Parking. All aid station has some water and fruits.

*No disposable cups are ready at Aid station.
